Domestic Couple
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Domestic Couple to provide overall care for our household in Manhasset, NY.
The ideal candidates will work collaboratively to ensure the smooth functioning of our home, managing various responsibilities such as cleaning, vendor coordination, cooking, errands, dog care, and driving as needed.
The couple must be self-starters, capable of working well with others, and possess an easy-going and flexible attitude.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Housekeeping:
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all areas in the household, including living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
Regularly perform laundry duties, ironing, and clothing care.
Handle delicate and valuable items with care, following specific cleaning instructions as necessary.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to schedule necessary household repairs, maintenance, and other services.
Oversee and ensure that contracted work is completed to high standards.
Cooking:
Prepare delicious and nutritious meals for the family, accommodating any dietary preferences or restrictions.
Plan menus, handle grocery shopping, and keep the kitchen well-stocked with essential supplies.
Errands and Food Shopping:
Run various errands, including grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and handling other necessary tasks as required.
Dog Care:
Provide attentive care for our beloved canine companion, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and regular walks.
Arrange for veterinary appointments and administer medications if needed.
Driving:
Responsible for transportation needs, such as driving family members to appointments, social events, or other engagements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Domestic Couple or in a similar household role.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or unexpected tasks.
A genuine love for animals, particularly dogs, is a must.
